About

Richard Amador is an adventurer and financial journalist working in the City of London. He’s travelled across the world from the jungles of Mexico to the minarets of Morocco in his pursuit to understand humanity.

In his journeys he has explored ancient ruins, climbed high mountains, studied oral storytelling among some of the world’s greatest masters, gotten stabbed and almost succeeded at buying an elephant at Harrods on a dare. Being traditional is not one of his priorities, and his books show this.

Curiosity of all things human has been his driving passion, and through that interest he seeks to explore all of life’s opportunities. In between his adventures, which may include building an analyst division for an investment bank in Spain or learning how to fight in hand to hand combat, he writes books.
